Since the beginning of his public service, Senator O’Connor’s ultimate goal has always been to lift up and build our communities to be even better places to live, work, and raise a family. The South Shore is an incredible place, but every community has its set of challenges to overcome. Patrick believes that this can be accomplished by working together, bridging divides, and focusing on problems and solutions, rather than political rhetoric.
Senator O’Connor takes pride in his past four years as your State Senator, having secured record local aid, passed landmark legislation, and stepped up to engage in difficult conversations for the benefit of progress. Most importantly, Patrick and his team have assisted hundreds of individuals and families in their greatest time of need by helping navigate state programs, achieve job security, find stable housing, or stay afloat in the wake of COVID-19.
As we look toward the future of the South Shore, Patrick’s priorities center around rebuilding our economy and lifting up the middle class, ensuring quality education for all children, protecting the most vulnerable in our society, supporting and modernizing public safety, protecting our coastal environment, improving our healthcare system, and bringing an end to the opioid epidemic.
