Thank you for the overwhelming support this past Tuesday for the re-election of Patrick O'Connor to the Weymouth Town Council. On Saturday, November 7th at 2pm in front of Weymouth Town Hall, Patrick will formally announce his candidacy for the Massachusetts State Senate.

Pat has worked for the Plymouth & Norfolk Senate district for the past eight and a half years as Senator Bob Hedlund’s legislative director. He has crisscrossed the district, met and worked with amazing people that call it home, and know the issues facing each of the eight beautiful communities.

On a state level, he will work with Governor Charlie Baker in tackling the opiate epidemic, building our economy, reforming the Department of Children and Families, and fixing the MBTA.

Massachusetts is a great state and under Governor Baker’s leadership we have a unique opportunity to do really amazing things. Pat can positively contribute to making Massachusetts and the Plymouth & Norfolk district an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
